Macao Visa

1. Omani Nationals. According to Agreement, Omani nationals can get their Macao visa at the Border when they visit Macao.

2. Third Countries' Nationals. At present, citizens of 74 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Portugal, etc. can enter the Macao Special Administrative Region of China for tourism without a visa.

From July 1, 2010, citizens of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam holding ordinary passports and some holding official passports must obtain a visa in advance before entering the Macao Special Administrative Region of China, and visa on arrival is no longer applicable. People from the above six countries traveling to the Macao Special Administrative Region of China can submit visa applications to the embassies and consulates of the People’s Republic of China .

Holders of diplomatic passports of the above six countries still enjoy visa-free treatment. In addition, officials of the embassies and consulates of the above six countries in China and the representative offices of international organizations in China and their families can apply for entry permits when entering the Macao Special Administrative Region of China with their passports and the identity cards of diplomats, consular officers or administrative and technical personnel in China.

Application Guide

(I) Application Materials

1. Application form - must be filled out truthfully and completely.

2. Photo - a recent small 2-inch(35mm×45mm) color photo(front-facing, not hat), please paste it on the application form.

3. Other materials - other materials required by the visa officer.

(II) Processing Time

If an application needs to be referred to the Immigration Department of the Government of the Macao SAR for processing, it normally takes about 20 working days and is not eligible for express service. For more details, please visithttp://www.fsm.gov.mo/psp/cht/main.html.

(III)Visa Fees and Payment:

A single-entry visa costs 19 Omani Rios.

(IV) Other Important Information:

1. Please fill out the visa application form truthfully, completely and clearly. Any false or incomplete statement or failure to write in a clear way may delay the processing of a visa application or result in the refusal of a visa.

2. Visa officials reserve the right to make decisions on a visa on a case-by-case basis.
