On September 27, 2026, the award ceremony of the China-Oman Student Letter Exchange Program was successfully held at the National Day Reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Oman, celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

H.E. Ambassador Lyu Jian, Dr. Sultan Al-Yahyai, representative of the Ministry of Education of Oman, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Amri, Acting Postmaster of Oman Post, jointly presented awards to the winning students. A thematic video of the program and short videos featuring the winning students were shown, creating a warm and moving atmosphere.

Launched in September 2025, the program paired 20 students from each side as pen pals. They completed two rounds of correspondence, with over 80 letters collected in total. Following evaluation by the China-Oman Joint Selection Committee, two pairs were awarded the first prize, two pairs the second prize, and two pairs the third prize.

Ambassador Lyu Jian said that in the internet age, promoting genuine and warm exchanges through traditional handwritten letters is highly meaningful. This program has built a "Bridge of Hearts" between the youth of the two countries and contributed to China-Oman cultural exchange and mutual learning.

The program received strong support from the education and postal departments of both countries, all participating schools, China-Arab TV and other institutions.
