On July 26, Ambassador Lyu Jian attended the special screening of the animated film ‘Ne Zha 2’. Nearly 200 guests attended the event, including Dr. Khalid Al-Saidi, Chairman of the Oman-China Friendship Association, officials from the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their families, representatives from the Ministry of Education, teachers and students, families of overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises in Oman. The theater was filled to capacity.

The audience praised the film for its stunning visuals and profound themes, with young viewers expressing amazement at the brilliance of Chinese animation. Ambassador Lyu noted that the ‘Ne Zha’ series is deeply rooted in China’s outstanding traditional culture and has achieved great success thanks to the power of technological innovation. He emphasized that bringing the film to Oman helps local audiences better understand Chinese culture and fosters heart-to-heart exchanges, aligning with the Global Civilization Initiative’s vision of promoting mutual learning among civilizations. Ambassador Lyu also extended a warm welcome to Omani youth, encouraging them to visit China and carry forward the friendship between the two countries.

Liu Yingdong, Representative of the Chinese community in Oman, delivered a welcome speech. Ambassador Lyu commended the efforts of overseas Chinese communities in Oman for their contributions to promoting Chinese culture and strengthening bilateral ties.
