Spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Guo Jiakun said that on April 21, Mr.Liu Bin, Assistant Foreign Minister, and Mr.Khalifa Al-Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman, held strategic consultation of the two Ministries in Beijing, and the two sides exchanged in-depth views on hotspot issues in the Middle East. China appreciates the positive role played by the Omani side in promoting the resolution of regional hotspot issues and easing regional tensions, and is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with the Omani side in international and regional affairs, making joint efforts to promote regional peace and stability.
